Tour De Rocks
Join the UNE Tour De Rocks Team in 2024! We’re assembling a team of passionate riders to form our #UNEHealthyCampusCrew on this incredible journey.

About the Event:
3-day charity bike ride, spanning 250km from Armidale to Woolgoolga on April 18-20, 2024. Camp under the stars at Ebor (Night 1) and Ulong (Night 2). Our dedicated UNE support crew will handle camp setup, while the TDR crew ensures you’re covered with drink stations, mechanical support, and catering.
Adult registration: $245 + a commitment to raise $250.

In this session, family wellbeing expert, Dr Rosina shares ideas for daily practices to help families focus on the positive aspects of life. More positivity at home with the children supports greater family mental and physical wellbeing, enabling working parents to be more motivated, focused, and productive at work.
Our program aims to educate leaders about the varying responses and reactions to trauma, how to normalise these reactions and how to empower individuals with practical strategies and support options. This approach supports leaders in dealing with the impact, enables post-traumatic incident growth and bolsters organisations to assist their teams when a critical incident occurs.
This session aims to educate individuals on the effects of alcohol and other drugs on a person’s life and work. It allows participants to reflect on their alcohol and other drug use, and will help to identify if it is problematic. This session provides practical strategies to reduce alcohol and drug use and encourages participants to look after their mental health as a way of managing stress.
This session is designed to provide individuals with a guide on how to manage the ‘inner-critic’ and reduce its impact on wellbeing. Participants of this session will be given the opportunity to reflect on and rate their current state of wellbeing. Participants will then be introduced to a range of helpful, evidence-based strategies in the form of a step-by-step guide.
This session focuses on strategies to maintain mental fitness and offers practical strategies to take care of ourselves in busy and challenging environments.
This program aims to increase participants’ awareness of mental health conditions and confidence to begin understanding how mental health plays a part in the workplace. Covering areas such as stress, anxiety and depression and their impact on work, this practical workshop debunks myths, overcomes stigma and focuses on the causes and outcomes of mental health at work.
Gender can present unique health issues across one’s lifetime. In this session we delve into the most pressing health matters for men in Australia, including: Life expectancy and modifiable risk factors, cardiovascular disease, smoking, the big three (hypertension, cholesterol and diabetes) and common cancers in men.
This webinar gives participants an introduction to the practice of mindfulness – how to implement its many benefits into our everyday working lives and to understand the incredible benefits of this practice.
