UNE Social Running Group | Armidale

Join the UNE Social Running Group for their weekly running sessions on Thursdays. UNE staff, students and the wider community are invited to join in to connect with colleagues and friends, and focus on their overall wellbeing

Time: 12.30 PM and 5.15 PM sessions

Tour De Rocks

Join the UNE Tour De Rocks Team in 2024! We’re assembling a team of passionate riders to form our #UNEHealthyCampusCrew on this incredible journey. 

When: April 18-20, 2024
Who: UNE Students & Staff 

About the Event:
3-day charity bike ride, spanning 250km from Armidale to Woolgoolga on April 18-20, 2024. Camp under the stars at Ebor (Night 1) and Ulong (Night 2). Our dedicated UNE support crew will handle camp setup, while the TDR crew ensures you’re covered with drink stations, mechanical support, and catering.

Adult registration: $245 + a commitment to raise $250.

Healthy Campus is a collaboration between FISU, UNE, UNE Life, & SportUNE, focusing on promoting physical, mental, & social health for staff & students.

This event aims to raise awareness of physical, social & mental wellbeing for our people. We believe that a healthy campus is not just about academic excellence but also about nurturing a healthy body and mind.

Conquer Your Exams: Yellowstone Challenge 

Students are invited to embark on the Yellowstone Conqueror Virtual Challenge, covering a captivating 121 km across diverse landscapes and ecosystems. Challenge yourself to keep active during exam prep and seize the opportunity to earn a medal! Use the Conqueror app to seamlessly track your progress on the virtual route through Yellowstone Park. Every step or workout logged propels you forward on the interactive map, inching you closer to completing the entire distance. Participants can connect with fellow UNE students in a dedicated chat!

When: Registrations close 26th April. The challenge starts on 29th April and lasts throughout T1 Exams!
