Airport & train station transfers

If you are travelling to Armidale via train or airplane, the UNE Life Advocacy & Welfare team are able to coordinate your travel to and from your accommodation, with their transfer service. This is a free service and we employ current students to drive you to and from your accommodation.

Bookings are essential 24 hours in advance and you will need to request an arrival transfer, or a departure transfer, separately.

Once confirmed, you will receive a notification from our system, and a member of UNE Life Advocacy & Welfare will be in touch to confirm details. Please bear in mind that for larger schools, this service may be in high demand and collection times will vary accordingly.

Parking

There are several carparks on campus and the University has a paid-parking scheme.

Weekly passes for students are $15 and can be purchased at the pay-machines located within each car-park, by following the instructions printed on each unit.

During intensive school periods, UNE Life Safety, Security & Information will have an increased presence in major carparks to assist students who might have difficulty. These staff will be wearing blue shirts and will be identifiable by the UNE Life or the Safety, Security & Information logo.

They will be happy to assist you with parking, or any other safety & information matters.

Casual accommodation is available on campus in the Residential System, a convenient option for your stay at UNE!
