The Shop on campus at UNE has a large selection of Unit Equipment that can be purchased online and posted to you in advance, or you can order, browse and purchase in person while you are here.
It is a good idea to organise your Student ID Card with Safety Security & Information before your stay to ensure you have easy access to any of the rooms your classes may be in, or any resources you may need.

Another option to consider is a stay in the lovely historic Uralla, which is located only 23 kilometres southwest of the city of Armidale. A selection of quality and quaint accommodation options can be found here.
From both the Parking Machines & the Strada Mobile Parking App you can purchase short term parking from 1 hour to 7 days.
Virtual permits purchased via the Strada mobile app can be purchased in advance before coming to campus. This avoids the que at the parking machine when you get here.

During intensive school periods, UNE Life Safety, Security & Information will have an increased presence in major carparks to assist students who might have difficulty. These staff will be wearing blue shirts and will be identifiable by the UNE Life or the Safety, Security & Information logo.
They will be happy to assist you with parking, or any other safety & information matters.
The College Safety Shuttle is a free service for students to travel to and from their college and town after 6pm. The shuttle is used to reach essential services in the center of Armidale. It operates during Trimesters 1 and 2, Tuesday through to Saturday, and departs Austin College, UNE, roughly every half-hour from start time. This service is available with the exception of public holidays.
To access this service, you will need your valid student ID card.

The Guided Heritage Tour is a two and a half hour taster of Armidale. You will be taken on a historical journey through Armidale with a lively and personal commentary from one of the tour guides. There are four opportunities to alight from the bus – at the New England Regional Art Museum, Aboriginal Cultural Centre, the Armidale Railway Museum, and the University of New England’s historic Booloominbah Homestead.
SportUNE is open early to late, 7 days a week and is considered one of the best university sporting precincts in Australia. Belgrave Cinema is Armidale’s local movie theatre, managed and operated by UNE Life. The cinema offers discounted prices for UNE students, just bring along your student ID card when you are buying tickets.
