Hello, welcome to UNE!

Hi, we’re UNE Life, we look after a range of services that tie into your student experience.

While we don’t oversee the academic aspect of your path, we’re dedicated to ensuring that your time at UNE is filled with support and a range of memorable experiences. Our extensive range of services caters to various facets of your journey, both in person on the Armidale campus, including SportUNE, Cafe Life, Clubs & Societies, The Shop (your one stop shop for uni text and e-books, merchandise, equipment and more), Graduation Services, UNE Life Events & Catering, UNE Life Safety & Security, Sleek, Advocacy & Welfare (your independent support team whilst at UNE), TuneFM, Belgrave Cinema and a variety of events and activations.

Additionally, we extend our reach online with resources like the UNE Life Blog, Advocacy & Welfare Blog, Be a Better Human, TuneFM, Clubs & Societies, and The Shop. You may want to book marked a few of those links! Anyway, enough about us – let’s focus on the exciting week ahead!

O-Mazing Race

Step inside Dixson Library and into the past, as you explore the UNE of days gone by, uncover clues, and solve puzzles that will challenge you and your friends. Can you escape the library? There’s only one way to find out!

Lifesaver Day

Lifesaver Day is O-Week’s flagship event and one of the biggest days on the calendar!

Who: Freshers and UNE staff and students
When: Thurs 22nd of February at 10.00 AM
Where: Ingrid Moses Courtyard (outside Dixson Library)
This is the perfect time to get social, join a club, play games, and grab as many freebies as you can!
There will be a wide range of UNE services, community groups, local businesses and more with stalls on the day.

Sports Olympiad

Which college has the ultimate athletes? Put it to the test at the Sports Olympiad!

Who: Freshers
When: Thurs 22nd of February at from 3.00-5.00 PM
Where: SportUNE

This O-Week, sweat it out in SportUNE’s round-robin tournament with a number of sports to be played. The two teams with the highest points will battle it out in a tug-o-war showdown. Wear your college colours, be active, get loud and support your team!

Free Student Transport Options to and from UNE

The Campus Safety Shuttle is a service for students to travel to and from UNE and town.

The service operates during Orientation Week, Trimester and Intensive periods. Find the timetable and stops here.

You can track this bus in real-time by downloading the UNE Safe app on your phone and heading to “UNE Safety Shuttle”. To access this service, you will need your valid student ID card.

If you’re a student on campus and need emergency transport assistance into town/campus, please reach out to the UNE Life Safety & Security team who will be able to help you 02 6773 2099

Accessibility

Our Armidale campus has some hilly spots between buildings. If navigating these slopes might be a challenge for you, feel free to chat with your unit coordinator.
