Here’s an overview of what UNE Life do:
Events: We manage and promote a range of events, be it for Clubs and student groups, zoom upskilling sessions, activations on campus or UNE Healthy Campus. You can find all of our events on Facebook
Student Advocacy: We employ an independent advocacy team, Advocacy & Welfare. They are here to listen and offer confidential support on things like academic misconduct, special extensions of time and much, much more – including student discounts.
Essential supplies:The Shop is your one-stop shop for all your academic essentials (we stock your textbooks and ebooks), equipment, plus snacks, drinks, gifts, and even have an in-store post office for your convenience!
Student Clubs & Societies: We run and offer governance to all UNE affiliated Clubs & Societies. Clubs are central to student life at UNE. They cover a range of categories, interests and passions from sports, academia, social clubs, hobby groups. There’s really something for everyone.
Gym and sporting facilities: We manage SportUNE, a supportive and inclusive community where you can pursue your fitness goals at your own pace and receive guidance from expert trainers. They boast state of the art facilities, classes, and clubs for every fitness level.
Food and Beverage options: We manage a range of hospitality venues including Cafe Life, located in Armidale near the Northern Courtyard – it’s the perfect place for coffee, lunch with friends or to catch up on some study! We also manage UNE Life Events & Catering who cater for events and functions across the New England, including your O-Week events through to your Graduation day and everything in between.
The University of New England respects and acknowledges that its people, programs and facilities are built on land, and surrounded by a sense of belonging, both ancient and contemporary, of the world’s oldest living culture. In doing so, UNE values and respects Indigenous knowledge systems as a vital part of the knowledge capital of Australia.
