SURVEY MANAGEMENT
The UNE Life Annual Experience Survey has been developed and is managed by UNE Life for the purpose of measuring satisfaction in current services, and to help inform future developments.
CONFIDENTIALITY
We hope that you will give us a frank assessment of your experience. Your answers are confidential, and you will not be identified in any reporting. Due to the in-depth nature of the survey, we will be sensitive to the ways data can be reported such that particular identities cannot be deduced or guessed at. If you choose to provide your contact details and enter in the prize draw, these details will be kept confidential for the sole purpose of identifying and contacting you in the event you are selected in the draw. These details will not be linked to your responses in any reporting of the data.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Current students and staff of the University of New England or UNE Life who complete the UNE Life Annual Experience Survey and opt to provide their contact details by December 1 2023 will be entered in a draw to win one of the prizes listed in the prize pool.
METHOD OF ENTRY
Entry is open to all respondents of the UNE Life Annual Experience survey who are currently enrolled students or current employees of the University of New England or UNE Life. All entrants must properly complete the survey online during the ‘entry period’ and provide their contact details.
Any UNE Life Employees, or other persons, directly involved in the management of the survey prize draw will not be eligible for entry in the prize draw.
All respondents who submit a completed survey during the ‘entry period’ and provide their contact details will be entered into the prize draw. If you do not wish to enter the draw, do not enter your contact details when requested. You may also request to not be entered in the draw by notifying unelife@une.edu.au with the contact details you previously provided.
By completing the survey, providing your contact details and not notifying UNE Life you do not wish to participate in the draw, you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions of the Prize Draw.
DURATION OF ENTRY PERIOD
The entry period of inclusion in the Prize Draw is from the competition start date of 16 October 2023, competition close date of 01 December 2023
DETAILS OF PRIZES
A pool of three prizes exists. Three names will be chosen at random using random number-generating software and one only prize will be afforded to any one person.
- $1000 travel voucher to be used with Flight Centre Travel Group Limited. ATAS Accreditation No. A10412 is to be forwarded directly to the winner no more than 14 days after this prize has been claimed
OR
- $250 gift voucher for Red Balloon experiences and gifts to be forwarded directly to the winner no more than 14 days after this prize has been claimed.
OR
- $100 cash prize to be deposited into a nominated bank account of the winner no more than 14 days after this prize has been claimed
DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF DRAW
The prize draw will be conducted on or after 11:59 pm 01 December 2023 AEDT. Draws will be conducted at The University of New England, Armidale, New South Wales. Winners will be identified through a random computer-generated draw.
PUBLICATION OF WINNER NAMES
The winner will be notified by telephone and email.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW
If the prize is unclaimed by 11:59 pm 21 December 2023 AEDT, an unclaimed prize draw will take place the following day, at the same address. The winner will be notified by telephone or email.
PLEASE NOTE
All decisions of UNE Life in relation to the conduct of the Prize Draw are binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entered into.
Your personal information as defined by the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) may be collected used and disclosed by UNE Life for Prize Draw purposes and other incidental and associated functions and activities. By entering the Prize Draw you consent to UNE Life using and disclosing any part of your personal information as set out above.
UNE Life and its employees will not be liable for any claim, loss, damage, injury, cost, and expense suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with the prize draw or your entry (or winning and use of the prize if the prize winner) and you agree to indemnify and release UNE Life or its employees from all such claims made or sustained as a result of entering this prize draw.
UNE Life reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw including extending the closing time of the Prize Draw, varying the time of the draw, or altering prizes offered in the prize pool.
If for any reason this Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned because of infection by tampering, unauthorised intervention or any other causes beyond the control of UNE Life which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Prize Draw or otherwise, UNE Life reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw subject to any applicable legislation. UNE Life also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who UNE Life has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Prize Draw.
