Kate Simpson

I’m Kate, one of the Advocates here at UNE Life.  My background includes being a Registered Nurse for almost 20 years, and then switching focus to law, completing a Bachelor of Laws through UNE in 2018.

My role as an Independent Advocate is to assist students with any issues that arise during their studies at UNE.  I am passionate about empowering students to navigate university life, offering assistance, advice and referrals to appropriate support services when needed.

Outside work I love to spend time gardening, walking my dogs, camping and volunteering at our local Vinnies store.
