Marketing and Sales Assistant

New England Brewing Co. is a dynamic regional brewery located in Uralla NSW. We have been serving beers at our brewery door and distributing to local and metro customers since 2013.

In line with a large brewery upgrade later this year, we need the right person to drive brand engagement with consumer and business customers. Most importantly, you’ll get hooked on our passion for the product we make, identify how we can add value to our customers’ businesses and surprise with your creativity and passion.

You will be part of a small team, report directly to the General Manager and work closely with our brewers and sales team. You will need to be located in the New England – North-West and be able to commute to the brewery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant qualification

  • Experience developing FMCG packaging and working with designers
  • Exposure to the hospitality or liquor industry

Light Cleaning at Bed and Breakfast

Student wanted to assist with Cleaning of Bed and Breakfast close to town

The cleaning is not heavy – there are two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The time involved would be in the vicinity of one hour to an hour and a half. This may be periodic and would be from 10.30 in the morning for about one hour. The time can be juggled to fit with lectures if necessary. The student will need a car.

Preferably, the student will need to be living in Armidale during the university holidays to continue working during this period. If they would like to come out to meet us, and discuss the job, we would be happy to speak with them, and perhaps they could bring along any references from previous employers where relevant.

An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Ensure customer’s needs are identified.
  • Carry out treatments in a relaxed friendly and clean environment.
  • Book customer’s appointments with efficient time allocated for each appointment.
  • Provide consultation and advice to customers if/when required, especially with providing colour services.
  • Provide all hairdressing services and cosmetic services including facial waxing, eyelash and eyebrow tinting.
  • Ensure completion of customer’s record cards for every colour service provided.
  • Operate POS to receive payments from customers and maintain appointments.
  • Maintain a clean working area and sanitise tools after each customer.
  • Promote and demonstrate products for retail.
  • Attempt to resolve complaints/ customer feedback within the Salon with the support of Salon Manager.
  • Undertake general cleaning duties to ensure the Salon is kept to high standards.
  • Ensure relevant infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times.
  • Operate and manage Sleek Hair Studio in the absence of Salon Manager when required.
  • Ability to remain ‘current’ – willingness to undertake training to further enhance skills.
