Respect. Empathy. Consent.
This initiative was created by students in 2017, spreading awareness of issues such as consent, rape culture, sexual harassment. The campaign encourages everyone to be an Active Bystander, looking out for our community and demonstrating empathy and concern.
An active bystander is someone who, when noticing a situation that concerns them, does something about it–they are everyday superheroes.
UNE Support & Wellbeing
The University provides students with Support Services covering a variety of areas such as:
- Health, Counselling and Wellbeing
- Culture, Equity and Diversity

- Financial
The University also provides resources to assist students with their Mental Health and Wellbeing.
