Studying at Uni can put pressure on your finances, but support is available. These local food pantries and resources can help you access free, healthy food.

Not located in Armidale? Ask Izzy brings together support services for those in crisis, covering everything from emergency housing and food assistance to mental health support, legal advice, and more. Input your post code to find services near you. It is free and anonymous, with thousands of services listed across Australia.

When: Thursdays 1-4 pm
Cost: $15 per bag – cash only

Global Care Food Pantry Armidale

Bring a reusable bag! Otherwise, available to purchase for $1 each.

Where: 28-30 Claude Street, Armidale (Christian Outreach Centre)
When: Fridays 10am-12pm
Cost: 1 bag $15 – 2 bags $30 – 3 bags $40 – 4 bags $50

For those studying in Armidale, make sure to check UNE Life’s socials regularly to see when free food events are being held up at the university. These usually run during orientation week, or during on-campus intensives. Make sure to bring your student ID with you.
