Club Awards
A large part of our annual Student Awards Night consists of the awards presented to our UNE Life Clubs & Societies.
Through these awards we aim to recognise the fantastic work done by our Clubs & Societies volunteers both through collective efforts and individual achievements.
TuneFM Awards
The Student Awards Night also recognises and celebrates the achievements of TuneFM’s amazing volunteer base, the driving force behind UNE’s “Student Powered Radio.” TuneFM not only keeps students entertained and informed but also elevates the profile of UNE academics by conducting captivating interviews and contributing to the Newshub. Their talented volunteers produce incredible original podcasts that further enrich the UNE experience. We shine a spotlight on these efforts through a variety of individual and project-based awards.
SFK Awards
The celebration doesn’t stop there! The Student Awards Night also recognises the winners of the Sir Frank Kitto Intercollegiate Arts Competition (SFK). Each event winner receives an award, and the night culminates in crowning the overall SFK champion.
The SFK is a longstanding tradition where UNE’s colleges and off-campus students (“townies”) put their creativity to the test in a series of exciting events. Explore the link below to learn more about this artistic competition.
