Meg Rice

BAgr/LLB (UNE – currently studying)

Meg is from a mixed livestock and cropping property in the central west NSW town of Parkes. She is currently in her fourth year studying a Bachelor Agriculture/Bachelor Law.

Meg lived in Duval College for her first three years of study and was elected to the Junior Common Room Committee and as a Resident Fellow.

Meg is currently the Chairperson of the UNE Farming Futures Initiative and has previously been President of the Rural Science Undergraduate Society at UNE.

Meg has extensive experience in rural community based programs and is a devoted volunteer with committees promoting and supporting rural areas and women in rural communities.

In her spare time, Meg enjoys netball and hockey and works in service areas managed by UNE Life.  She continues her studies residing off campus.
